Two CMC Alumni Hired On-the-Spot at Connect 2025 Job Fair
Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) proudly
celebrates the success of its graduates and alumni during the recently
concluded Connect 2025 Job Fair held at the CMC Quadrangle on August 15, 2025.
The event gathered hundreds of graduate students, alumni, and job seekers,
providing them with meaningful opportunities for employment and career
advancement. It also highlighted the institutionโs commitment to promoting
Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
Among the remarkable success stories from the fair, two CMC alumni were hired
on-the-spot by PAG-ASA Philippines Finance Corporation as Development Officers.
Richard G. Manila, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino graduate
from Batch 2020, and Nikko A. Abpi, a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration Major in Marketing graduate from Batch 2025, impressed
recruiters with their skills, potential, and professionalism, which led to
their immediate employment.
Their success highlights not only their individual determination but also the
quality of education and holistic preparation that CMC provides. The
recognition they earned from PAG-ASA Philippines Finance Corporation also
reflects the institutionโs growing reputation for producing graduates who are
industry-ready and globally competitive.
The story of Manila and Abpi stands as an inspiration for current students,
fellow alumni, and aspiring job seekers, showing that opportunities are within
reach when matched with preparation and commitment. It also underscores the
vital role of the CMC Center for Job Placement (CJP) and the Center for Alumni
Affairs (CAA) in connecting graduates with partner companies and strengthening
the bond between the institution and its alumni network.
Indeed, Connect 2025 was not just a job fair, it was a celebration of dreams
fulfilled, futures secured, and CMCians taking confident steps into the world
of work.
